What do I see today?
Every indicator in this note is flat. The SunSirs bulk index sat at 1127, and the four products I track with a public daily feed — sodium bicarbonate, propylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol and phosphoric acid — all closed on the day with no movement. The fertilizer indices moved no more than the others: urea, ammonium nitrate, potassium nitrate and the sulphate and phosphate lines were all unchanged as well. Two series were left out rather than shown at a stale or unparsed value, and the exclusions are named below.
A day with no movement in the index is a day with no new information in it. The useful thing to do with that is to keep planning against the level you already have, rather than to read a change into a flat line.
