Food, beverage & bakery

What do you supply into the food and beverage industry?

Eight products into food, beverage, bakery and seasoning. Two of them are food lines only — phosphoric acid and food grade isopropyl alcohol. The other six I also supply into the animal-feed, aquaculture and pharmaceutical trade, so the same chemistry can be quoted for either buyer with the documentation each one needs. Every batch ships with a per-batch Certificate of Analysis covering 12 specifications and an MSDS. Minimum order is 1 FCL, lead time is a quoted lead time from order confirmation, and you have factory pricing within two business days of a complete enquiry.

Which of these are preservatives, and which are not?

Two of them are the preservatives you will be looking for, and both have the E number on the product page: sodium benzoate (E211) and potassium sorbate (E202). Citric acid is E330 and works as an acidulant rather than a preservative. The rest are functional ingredients rather than preservation systems — bicarbonate as a leavening agent, phosphoric acid for acidity in soft drinks and seasoning, glucose for sweetening and fermentation, creatine in sports nutrition and energy drinks, and food grade IPA as an extraction solvent.

If your specification names a grade, a purity or a food additive regulation, say so when you write and I will quote against that specification rather than against a catalogue line.

What documentation comes with a food grade order?

Every batch ships with a per-batch Certificate of Analysis covering 12 specifications, and a Material Safety Data Sheet. GMP certificates, certificates of origin, testing reports and third-party testing are supplied on request — say what your own compliance process needs to see first and it can be arranged before the order is placed. Export documentation, customs clearance paperwork and export handling are part of the shipment.

What you are permitted to import, and how it has to be labelled and registered, is set by the authority in your country rather than by me, and it differs by product and by use. I will give you the documents, the HS code and the specification the order is made against, and if a product needs a licence in your market, say so before you order and I will tell you plainly whether I can supply it.

How do I get a quote for a food grade product?

Send the product, the quantity, the destination country and the specification you buy to — a grade, a purity, an E number, or a customer specification you need the certificate to name. You have factory pricing and lead times within two business days, and the freight is shown as a separate line so you can see what you are paying for the product and what you are paying for shipping.

Want a price for a food grade product?

Product, quantity, destination and the specification you buy to. You get factory pricing and lead times within two business days — and if I cannot do it at a fair price, I will tell you instead of quoting it.
