Buy my judgement on one factory or one supplier, whether or not you buy anything from me. I worked inside plants before I bought from them, and this is the judgement I use — sold as time, on a specific question, with a specific answer.

- How the quality control is really set up

- Whether a trading company is presenting itself as a factory
Billed as time rather than as a document. A multi-week audit and a report for a bank are different products; this is a conversation about one factory, ending in a view you can act on. It does not depend on placing an order, and no order is a condition of it. The checklist I use is my own working asset and is not published; what you buy is the answer, not the list. How an engagement runs. One factory, one report, usually one day. Payment is in advance and the report follows it. I write to a report structure I already hold, and I write it to cover what you asked about — and if what I normally check is wider than your question, the report covers that too. You are not paying for a thinner document than the one I would send you anyway. A report is my judgement, not a certification, and I will say in it plainly what could not be settled from outside the plant.
